Students and pensioners club together for lively performance

Posted by Hannah Bewley on Jun 27, 12 03:57 PM in Good causes

PERFORMERS at a school will work with a local charity to put on a new production.

Pupils at Claremont High School are working with Age UK Brent to put on Two Dogs and Five Carriages and present a performance featuring year 12 students and older members of the community.

The play, by Dominic Francis, tells the story of Melanie, who dreams of leaving Kenton and travelling the world.

The Lifelong Collective is an intergenerational theatre company based at Claremont High School, working in partnership with Age UK Brent to create a new play, which will preview at Claremont High School on the afternoon and evening of Wednesday 4th July 2012.

All enquiries to Ken Luxon, volunteer development coordinator at Age UK Brent on 0208 965 7711.

We'd like to hear from you.
