Refusal recommended for college's office space conversion plan in Stanmore
PLANS to convert part of the first floor of Devonshire House in Honeypot Lane, Stanmore, from office to educational use were recommended for refusal at yesterday evening's (Wednesday's) Harrow Council planning committee meeting.
Officers advised Elizabeth College's application, which would have enabled it to provide computing, business and financial management courses, would represent an unacceptable loss of business floorspace and would be detrimental to neighbouring offices.
