ENJOY The Friends of Canons Park's last free bird Watching Walk of the season around Canons Park on Sunday, June 4.
The group will meet at 10am at the Donnefield Avenue, Edgware, entrance gates to the park for the two hour stroll, which will be led by a member of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds.

APOLLONIA restaurant in Church Road, Stanmore, has applied to Harrow Council to become a venue for weddings and civil ceremonies, and will be granted the licence as long as it is "seemly, dignified and regularly available for civil marriages, has adequate fire precautions and has not recent connection with any religion which is incompatible with its use as a venue for civil marriages".

REGISTRATION for the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital's (RNOH) annual sponsored Buttercup Walk is now open.
Participants complete a 1km stroll around the hospital site in The Common, Stanmore, on Sunday June 17.

VISITORS will be able to wander around historic Bentley Priory later this month at a charity's 1940s-themed open day.
Families going to the ex-RAF base in The Common, Stanmore, can enjoy military, brass and steel pan bands, a Spitfire aerial display, an aviation and military and art exhibition, and re-enactments.

The Friends of the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Brockley Hill, Stanmore, are launching a new wheelchair rental facility on Tuesday, May 18.
Wheels 4 Ease will operate from the Patients' Centre and offer low cost short-term manual wheelchair hire of up to three months.
