16th century Stanmore cottages could become kids nursery

Posted by David Tilley on Dec 1, 08 03:02 PM in Local Authority

A nursery could be opened in a 450-year-old Grade II Listed building in Stanmore.
Cottrell Cottages, at 57 to 65A The Broadway, are currently empty but Watford-based Boys and Girls Nursery has applied to Harrow Council to change their designation from offices (B1 use) to a nursery (D1).
The company intends to make internal and external alterations to the two-storey property and add car parking and an outdoor play area.
The nursery would run from 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday and would employ 20 full-time and four part-time staff.
