Man cracks skull in disturbance

Police are calling for witnesses of an incident in which a man suffered a fractured skull to come forward.
The disturbance happened in Beatty Road, Stanmore, on Sunday (22) at about 2.30am, leaving a 39-year-old seriously injured.
Detective Sergeant Richard Tobias said: "This was a serious incident and we would encourage anyone with information about it to call Harrow Police on 020 8733 3441 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
24-year old Mark Last, of Wiltshire Lane, Pinner has been charged with grievous bodily harm and has been remanded in custody until July 28.
